Required Documents to Register for VAT?

 As a business owner in the UAE, you are required to register for VAT if your taxable supplies and imports exceed the mandatory registration threshold of AED 375,000. Once you are vat registration, you will be required to charge VAT on your supplies and imports at the standard rate of 5%.

 

If your business is based in Dubai, you can register for VAT online through the Dubai Online Business Registration Portal. The portal allows you to complete your registration in just a few minutes. You will need to provide some basic information about your business, such as your company name and trade license number.

What is VAT?

If you are doing business in the United Arab Emirates, you will need to vat registration uae has a VAT rate of 5%, which is levied on the supply of goods and services. To register for VAT, you will need to have a valid UAE trade license. You will also need to provide your company's financial statements and other supporting documents. The system will automatically create a VAT online account for you, also known as a Government Gateway account. Once you have registered for VAT, you will be able to get your VAT certificate from this account. Please note that it can take up to 30 days for the certificate to be issued.
